CESD Workshops Held in Salyan

CESD held "Managing Staff and Volunteers in CSOs workshop" in Salyan on September 04-05, 2010. Alimammad Nuriyev, senior trainer and President of Constitution Researchers Foundation mentioned that the workshop was aimed at helping local CSO leaders manage their most treasured resource.

The aim of this course is to help civil society leaders and local authorities develop a strategic approach to managing such a treasured resource and to develop and improve the management capabilities of CSO staff and development workers. During the course, participants not only improved their management capabilities, but also gained an awareness of the impact of their management style, developed greater insight into their leadership role, and increase their confidence in being able to facilitate organisational change. Mr, Nuriyev, spoke about Azerbaijani experience and responded to local CSOs representatives’ questions.
