Center for Economic and Social Dev elopment (CESD) laucnhed presentation of Startegy Paper on Agriculture in Azerbaijan on March, 15, 2010 in Baku with representatives of government institutes, Azerbaijani Parliament, international organizations/foundations, local NGOs, mass-media institutes and scholars.  On opening speech, Vugar Bayramov, chairman of CESD, presented the policy paper findings and mainly focused on policy recommendations.  Representatives of Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Emergency, State Committee for Irrigation and Melioration and other relevant state bodies welcomed CESD policy recommendations and mentioned that recommendations will be discussed in the government and some of them will be approved. Representatives of international foundation, NGOs and scholars actively participated in the discussions.
