CESD Presented Internship Program Results
Center for Economic and Social Development (CESD) presented CESD Internship
Program results to mass-media on July, 23, 2010 at the CESD Training Center.
Vugar Bayramov, chairman of CESD, mentioned that 326 applications received and 3
of them were selected. Nicola
Morfini is PhD candidate at the University
of St. Andrews (UK)
and Junior Researcher at the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) in Rome and Ulrich
Schubert, graduate student at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität in Freiburg (D)
applications among 65 ones were approved by CESD Selection Committee. Farida
Poladova, from Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, was only winner among Azerbaijani
applications.
Alimammad
Nuriyev, Board Member at State NGO Council under President Office, appreciated
CESD Internship Program and mentioned that the first time inAzerbaijan civil
society history, European researchers will have internship at the civil society
institute. From this perspective, CESD once again confirmed its leading
position.

Winners of internship program shared their internship plans with
mass-media representatives.
3 winners within 326 applicants including 65 foreign applicants are announced by
the CESD. This
year, CESD will host interns from Switzerland
and Italy,
and 1 local student from Azerbaijan
State Oil Academy is in between winners. Foreign interns will have chance
to work at EU Integration and Civil
Society Development Departments.
