CESD Board Members, economists gave lecture on Economics in the seminar organized by Free Thought University

CESD Board Members, Mr. Vugar Bayramov and Elchin Rashid were invited to give lecture on economics at Free Thought University on  17th October, 2009. Key speaker, Mr. Vugar Bayramov had a presentation on “Modern Economics Theories”. He also gave brief introduction of classic approaches to the Economics. Various theories, approaches were discussed. Audience seemed to be more interested in Marxist school’s views since after the crisis this school receives much interest all over the world.  Mr. Elchin Rashid explained why there is a need for government intervention in case of market failure. Several theories of Public Finance, such as Prisoners dilemma and Coase theorem were well received by the audience, especially students there, who were not stranger to lectures given by CESD economists. During the interactive discussions, CESD Board Members answered the questions asked by students.
